Unroll your rug as soon as possible and allow it to settle naturally on a flat surface; temporary creases or fold lines are normal and usually disappear within a few days. Light shedding and gentle natural odours are normal with wool rugs initially; these fade quickly with regular airing and vacuuming as the fibres settle. Regular vacuuming helps keep your rug clean and extends its lifespan. Remove spills and stains immediately and absorb liquids with a clean cloth by pressing. For difficult stains, professional rug cleaning is recommended. To keep your rug stable and prevent slipping, we recommend using a rug gripper.
