Lavender (Lavandula Angustifolia) is derived from the flowering tips of the plant, sourced from France. It is extracted using steam distillation. Lavender has a long history of use, particularly in ancient Egypt and Rome, where it was valued for its calming effects in bathing, relaxation, cooking, and as a fragrance. Today, Lavender is known for its relaxing properties, both when used internally and topically. It is commonly applied to the skin to reduce imperfections or used in baths to relieve stress. A few drops on pillows, bedding, or the soles of the feet can help promote restful sleep. Lavender is an essential oil to keep on hand for its many uses. Uses: Add a few drops of Lavender Oil to pillows, bedding, or the bottoms of feet before bedtime. Use Lavender to soothe occasional skin irritations. Freshen spaces like linen closets, mattresses, cars, or the air by mixing Lavender with water in a spray bottle. Directions for Use: Diffusion: Add 3-4 drops to your diffuser. Topical Use: Apply 1-2 drops to the desired area. Dilute with Fractionated Coconut Oil if needed to avoid skin sensitivity. Cautions: May cause skin sensitivity. Keep out of reach of children. If pregnant, nursing, or under a doctor’s care, consult with your physician. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas.
