The natural fillings work to acclimate the mattress to its surroundings helping you stay warmer in winter and cooler in the summer months. There is also an advanced airflow system with multiple vents mounted on each side of the mattress to force warm air out ensuring that the inside of the mattress stays fresh. The core of the mattress is based around 1000 full size individually pocketed springs which are topped by 2000 micro pocket springs, a polycotton rebound layer and then 2000 more micro pocket springs. The specific layering and high spring count has been designed for the ultimate level of weight distribution to allow the mattress to provide maximum pressure relief with a medium-firm orthopaedic level of support. Due to the natural materials used in the construction of this mattress, it will require a breaking in period. This means the mattress will feel considerably firmer during the first week to 2 weeks before settling into the medium-firm support that it is designed to provide.
