Small Talk with Laura Whitmore

Leather or denim?

Denim!

What’s your favourite fashion era?

Probably the ‘70s - I’m obsessed with the ‘70s.

Trainers or heels?

I spent a lot of the last two years in trainers but I’m ready to get back out there in my heels.

Neutral or colourful?

Colourful! I think it’s good to have staple pieces that are colourful that you’ll have year after year after year.

Any hidden talents?

I can touch my tongue to my nose. I can also speak Irish.

What is your favourite cocktail?

My favourite cocktail is, without a doubt, an espresso martini. I definitely need the caffeine these days!

Night out or night in?

It’s all about balance.

What is your favourite piece in the edit?

My favourite piece is the green three-piece suit. I love some tailoring, I love a little bit of a kick flare – so this is by far my favourite piece.

What is your desert island album?

That is tough because I like my music. I love a bit of a ‘70s vibe so I’m to go back to an album that was released in 1977 which was ‘Fleetwood Mac – Rumours'.

Summer or winter?

Summer.

Catwalk or street style?

Street style.

Mini or maxi?

Mini – get those legs out!

What don’t you leave the house without?

Snacks! It’s nothing to do with fashion – I just love eating!
